Taylor Momsen's Boobs Are Relevant

I often quite forget that Taylor Momsen is a 17 year old girl, who is not even legally allowed to drink yet. The world has pretty much ignored/adopted to her rather revealing sense of fashion, NSFW views and opinions and attention seeking antics. She wanted the world to see her as an edgy, rock/rebel/punk/emo chick, so she acted like one to get her point across in a loud and clear fashion.

We've all known her as the little girl, Cindy Lou Who in The Grinch and Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl. So when she started going bonkers, people were quite taken aback. But this post is not to reminisce on how young and innocent Taylor was years back. Lately, when I see a picture of Taylor clad in lingerie and torn up stockings, I just roll my eyes at the absurdity of it all. But this one's special. Taylor seems to have kicked things up a notch. This post is actually dedicated to the Download Festival in England sometime in June where Taylor put on quite a show.

A slashed, loose tank top, electrical tape to cover your nipples, tight leather pants and sky high heels. Really classy and age appropriate, don't you think? Taylor has often told the press that she dresses to please herself and doesn't care what others think of her. 

Uhm, yeah. 

This was no doubt to seek attention yet again. Fortunately for her, her taped nipples in shows give her plenty of attention. Without it, her band - The Pretty Reckless, could've died. Well, we're not the boss of her and she has every right to dress like a... a... whatever it is you call people who dress like that. But if she really wanted her music to be recognized, I think she should tone it down a bit. The focus is her music after all, not her rebellious image.

When you see a picture of her like that (see below), it's hard to think she's 17 years old. 4 years younger than myself. The world can be crazy sometimes.

She likes being compared to Kurt Cobain rather than Courtney Love. Apparently, lifting your shirt and flashing your barely covered melons while looking like a blonde Wednesday Adams makes you edgy, hardcore and relevant in the rock industry. Another reason to lose faith in humanity. Her boobs are quite nicely shaped though.

I wonder how she'll be dressing up by the time she's 21?
